AM Community Groups: Bible Study & Discussion

Sunday Mornings, 9:00am weekly

Morning Community Groups are small groups where believers come together to study and discuss God’s Word in a warm, welcoming setting. These groups provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with others in our church family while deepening your faith and building a strong foundation for spiritual growth. We offer classes for every stage of life, from PreK through Senior Adults, so there’s a place for everyone.

PM Community Groups: Fellowship & Connection 

Fall 2026

God created us to live in community, not isolation. PM Community Groups provide a place to connect with others, build authentic friendships, and encourage one another through life's joys and challenges. While our AM Community Groups focus on Bible study, PM Community Groups focus on fellowship and relationship-building, helping our church family grow closer together as we follow Christ.

PM Community Group Information

  • While Pilgrim Rest offers many opportunities to learn and grow through Bible study, PM Community Groups are focused on fellowship and connection. These relaxed gatherings provide a space to build relationships, share life together, enjoy food and conversation, and encourage one another in faith. Our goal is simple: to help people move beyond attending church and become deeply connected to a church family.

  • Fall 2026 Community Groups will take place Sunday evenings from 5:15pm - 6:45pm. It will go for 8 weeks, with the exception of August 30 for Praise Fest.

  • Hosts are predominately responsible for providing a space to meet. This could be your home if your home is equipped to accommodate small groups, or a church classroom if a home is unavailable.

    Leaders are predominately responsible for communicating with the group, helping facilitate conversation (activities will be provided) and prayer.

  • Children and Youth activities will take place on the Pilgrim Rest Campus from 5:00pm - 7:00pm each Sunday evening. Parents may drop off children before group time and should return to campus no later than 7:00pm.

    • Community Groups exist to build biblical community centered on Christ.

    • Community Groups should remain encouraging, respectful, and spiritually healthy environments.

    • Gossip, divisiveness, constant negativity or unbiblical counsel should not characterize group conversations.

    • Leaders and hosts should help maintain healthy discussion and redirect conversations when necessary.

    • Groups are encouraged to pray together, build relationships, and care for one another.
